| There are plenty of places in Utah to forge your way through the snow on skis or snowshoes. One of the best is the Solitude Nordic Center’s Silver Lake Lodge. You’ll find everything you need to get started here, including ski accessories, rentals, lessons, light snacks and guided back country tours. The most impressive thing you’ll find is the location. There are 20 km of expertly groomed trails set for both classical and skating styles, all at 8,700 feet up pristine Big Cottonwood Canyon. |
