Lose yourself in a captivating performance by Ballet West, a 40-member company noted for pioneering artistry, spontaneity and freshness of its dancing. Salt Lake audiences have enjoyed its performances for almost 30 years.
If you’d prefer something a bit looser, take in a performance by the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company. Their original repertory and classic works enchant audiences all over the world. They are the most active modern dance company outside of New York, due in part to the philosophy of founders and artistic directors Joan Woodbury and Shirley Ririe, that dance should be accessible to everyone.
The Repertory Dance Company performs both classic and contemporary modern dance, and takes its unique role seriously as the preserver and presenter of treasured American works of art. They have created a living library of historically significant choreography and have commissioned new works by both established and emerging choreographers. |
