 The Deer Valley Children's Center is a state-licensed facility providing supervision and activities for non-skiing children. Located on the main level of the Snow Park Lodge, the Center is open daily from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Please call 888-SKI-TIPS (754-8477) for reservations or 435-645-6648 upon your arrival to check availability.
Children's Center -- Ages 2 months - 12 years
Infant Care (2 - 24 months; 4 to 1 average ratio)
Full-day (with lunch if appropriate)

Half-day childcare may not be reserved in advance — sold daily when space is available.
Please provide diapers, a change of clothing and any special foods for your child. Activities include story time, art projects, imagination activity center, singing, and lots of play time and toys, along with a bit of resting.
Children's Ski Programs -- Ages 3 - 4 ½ years
The Deer Valley Ski School offers exciting programs and activities for all ages and abilities. Ski Pros will help young beginners and intermediates excel quickly and get more enjoyment out of their time on the mountain. You can reserve lessons on the main level of Snow Park Lodge from 8:30am – 5pm. Phone reservations began September 5, 2000, and are open daily from 8am - 5pm at 888-SKI-TIPS (754-8477) or 435-645-6648.
Fawn Special (Lunch and snack included. Lift ticket not needed) $100
·Child must be a minimum of 3 years old and willing to ski.
·From 9:00-9:45am — Private lesson tailored to the individual needs of your child. Meets on snow.
·From 9:45am - 4pm — Indoor Children's Center activities include story time, art projects, lunch and quiet time.
Bambi Club (Lunch and snack included. Lift Ticket not needed) $100
·Child must be a minimum of 3 ½ years old, completely potty trained and willing to ski.
·Children will participate in morning and afternoon ski lessons. Indoor activities include story time, art projects, lunch and quiet time. Drop off between 8:30 - 9am and pickup time no later than 4pm at the Bambi Room in the Children's Center.
Bambi Club or Fawn Special — Advance reservations are recommended. Ski rental is offered at a discounted rate of $15 per day and must be picked up 60 minutes prior to the 9am lesson start time, or the afternoon/evening prior.
Bambi Club & Fawn Special Reservation Policy —Reservations are recommended for all children's lessons throughout the ski season. Reservations are essential during peak periods such as Christmas, Presidents' Week and Spring Break periods. Call ahead to make arrangements. All products are subject to availability and may sell out at any time. First day registration requires approximately 30 minutes. Avoid the morning rush, register in person any day prior.
Cancellation and No-show Policies — A $75 fee will apply to Bambi and Fawn cancellations or changes not made by 2pm the day prior. No-shows for any reserved services will be charged a full-day rate and any remaining reservations will be cancelled.
Children's Ski Programs -- Ages 4 ½ - 12 years
Deer Valley’s Ski Pros are trained specifically in techniques that teach children not just how to ski, but instill in them a love of skiing. Students are carefully placed in a group with others of the same ability. These lessons end at 3:45pm so that you will have the opportunity to take a run with your child.

Reindeer Club

4 ½ years old through Kindergarten: 10am - 3:45pm.
·A full day of skiing for all ability levels
·Attentive Ski Pros will cater to your child's needs
·Lunch, hot chocolate and rest breaks will be taken in the Reindeer Room
·Average class size: 4 - 6 students
Adventure Club
(Lesson, Lift Ticket and Lunch) $100
1st grade through 12 years old: 10am - 3:45pm.
·Experienced Ski Pros will help your child discover all the fun and excitement of skiing
·Beginners to experts will have the opportunity to achieve their personal best
·Average class size: 7 - 10 students
Children not possessing the communication or motor skills necessary to be in Adventure Club and/or Reindeer Club will participate in the Children's Center activities. Please note that during the course of a lesson, your child may be riding the lift alone. Minimum age requirements are adhered to for safety reasons.
Youth Program -- Ages 13-17 years
Teen 'Equipe' (Lesson and Lift Ticket) $105
13 - 17 years old: 10am - 3:45pm.
Enjoy a mountain experience with other teens while being coached on the dynamics of skiing. Be sure to bring about $15 and hang out with your Ski Pro and new friends for lunch. |
