Deer Valley offers some of the finest cuisine found at any ski resort on the planet, consistently setting a new standard for dining in the mountains. The restaurants comprise a wide variety of dining options, ranging from a ski-in snack on the side of a mountain, to gourmet dining at the lodge. Deer Valley's two day-lodges -- the Snow Park Lodge at the base and Silver Lake Lodge located mid-mountain – provide a comfortably rustic atmosphere to compliment its unique eating establishments. Listed below are the dining options at Deer Valley.
SILVER LAKE
Mariposa is one of Deer Valley's most popular restaurants, serving a blend of contemporary and classic cuisine including a vegetarian menu. The Cedar Room, serving from the Mariposa menu, is available for private parties of 13 or more. Open Tuesday through Sunday 6-10pm. For reservations, call (435)-645-6715.
Silver Lake Restaurant serves continental-style breakfast daily from 8:30 to 11am, featuring bagels, pastries, cereals, granolas and beverages, complete with hot coffee including espresso and cappuccino. The restaurant is also open for lunch from 11am to 3pm, serving grill items, carved roasts, deli sandwiches, salad bar and baked goods.
McHenry’s serves up some of the tastiest hamburgers you’ve ever eaten in a casual atmosphere. McHenry’s also specializes in grilled sandwiches and chili. The dinner menu offers unique appetizers, pizzas, salads, Black Angus steaks, seafood and nightly specials. Take-out available. Open daily for lunch from 11:30am to 2:30pm; open for dinner Thursday through Monday from 5:30 to 9pm. For reservations, call 435-645-6724.
Bald Mountain Pizza, located in the Silver Lake Lodge, offers gourmet pizzas, salads and pasta with your choice of two sauces. Serves lunch from 11:30am to 3pm.
SNOW PARK
Snow Park Restaurant: In addition to the abundant and diverse fare of Natural Breakfast Buffet, this restaurant serves made-to-order breakfast entrees including omelets, egg specialties, and Belgian waffles from 8am to 10:30am. Espresso and cappuccino also available. Snow Park Restaurant is also open for lunch from 11am to 2:30pm, serving hot specialties, grilled items, carved roasts, pizzas and more.
Seafood Buffet: Probably one of the greatest buffets in existence. If you think a seafood buffet sounds risky, think again. This place rules! This place has everything and its good, which is why it is a favorite of locals and visitors alike. Enjoy a wide variety of fresh seafood including chilled shellfish, hot seafood appetizers and entrees, grilled fish and chicken, ribs, pasta, prime rib, and outrageous desserts. Open Monday through Saturday, 6:30 to 9:30pm. For reservations, call 435-645-6632.
ON-MOUNTAIN EATING
Snowshoe Tommy's Atop Bald Mountain allows visitors to ski right up for a quick snack, offering espresso drinks, and hot and cold beverages, baked goods and sweets. Indoor and outdoor seating is limited. Open 9:30am to 3:30pm daily -- conditions permitting.
